Our Story
VVCDC was founded on the vision of Dr. Betty Price, who imagined a Vermont Corridor defined by opportunity, dignity, and pride. Her dream was a thriving community where families could feel safe, businesses could grow, and residents could build lasting futures.
Today, VVCDC carries that vision forward by working alongside residents, partners, and local organizations to address systemic challenges while uplifting the strengths that already exist within the community.
Our Mission
VVCDC advances equity and stability by providing community-based programs that support economic opportunity, health and wellness, education, and access to essential services.
Our Vision
A vibrant, healthy community where every resident has access to opportunity, resources, and the support needed to thrive.
Our Values
Everything we do is guided by intention, care, and a deep commitment to the community we serve.

We believe the strongest solutions are shaped by the voices and lived experiences of the community. Our work is grounded in listening, partnership, and accountability to the people we serve.

Lasting impact happens through collaboration. We work alongside residents, partners, and service providers to create coordinated pathways that connect individuals and families to the support they need.
