Message from Our Executive Director

At Vermont Village Community Development Corporation (VVCDC), our work begins and ends with community. Every program we design, every partnership we build, and every initiative we launch is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: thriving communities are created when residents, organizations, and leaders work together with shared purpose.

It is an honor to serve as Executive Director of VVCDC and to stand alongside community members, partners, and stakeholders who are deeply committed to equity, opportunity, and long-term neighborhood stability. Our mission goes beyond providing services — we are building pathways. Pathways to economic mobility, workforce development, stable housing, health access, and community revitalization.

VVCDC operates from a collaborative model. We believe meaningful change happens at the intersection of community voice, strategic partnerships, and sustainable investment. That is why we work closely with residents, local institutions, public agencies, and private partners to ensure our programs are responsive, culturally relevant, and designed to produce measurable impact.

Our focus is not only on addressing immediate needs, but also on strengthening systems that allow families and individuals to thrive over generations. Whether we are supporting workforce readiness, advancing commercial and neighborhood revitalization, expanding access to housing and health resources, or developing youth and family programming, our goal is consistent: to create environments where people can build stability, dignity, and opportunity.

I am continually inspired by the resilience, creativity, and leadership within the Vermont Village community. Together, we are shaping a future defined by access, inclusion, and shared prosperity.

We invite you to partner with us, engage with our programs, and join us in advancing a stronger, healthier, and more empowered community.

With appreciation,

Renee Bizer
Executive Director
